All About Me

My name is Kayla Bissett. I am a Whitesville Central School graduate of 2006. I went to SUNY Fredonia for 6 years where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Childhood Education. I also received my Master's Degree in Literacy Education. 

After college, I moved home and bought a house, married my high school sweetheart, and started my dream job! I have two amazing little girls, Charlotte and Eleanor (Charlie & Ellie), a doxle named Lola, a cat named Booger, and many fish! 

I love Whitesville and being able to teach here has always been a dream of mine. :)

Welcome back!! I'm looking forward to this Kindergarten year. We have a really good sized class with 21 students and I cannot wait to have fun together! 

This year we will:

  • make new friends

  • learn to read

  • have specials including art, music, SEL, gym, and library

  • watch caterpillars transform into butterflies

  • hatch chicks

  • learn to share

  • learn to add & subtract

  • learn how to spell and write our first and last names

  • learn shapes, colors, letter names, and letter sounds
